Final call for green award entries
Organisations have just a few days left before entries close for the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s Greater Manchester Green Business Award at 5pm this Friday, 9 December.
ENWORKS has teamed up with the Chamber to launch the prestigious new award, in celebration of environmental best practice in the local business community.

Entry to the award is free. Entry packs can be downloaded here.
Completed entries and enquiries should be submitted by email to: greenaward@gmchamber.co.uk.
Judges
Now confirmed, the judging panel will include:
- Clive Memmott, Chief Executive of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce
- Charlie Parker, Lead Officer of the Greater Manchester Environment Commission and Chief Executive of Oldham Council
- Mike Blackburn, Chair of the Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership (GM LEP)
- Samantha Nicholson, Programmes Director at ENWORKS
- Todd Holden, the Chamber’s Head of Low-Carbon Policy and Programmes.
Categories
Organisations of all sizes and sectors across Greater Manchester are eligible to apply, including Chamber members and non-members. There are two categories:
- Small Business (fewer than 250 employees)
- Large Business (250 or more employees).
Presentations
The shortlist will be announced by mid-January 2012 and the winners will be presented with trophies at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner, at the Manchester Central Convention Complex on Thursday 8 March 2012.
